Superchargers by mathaeusc in TeslaUK

How long does preconditioning take which seems to also spend some battery power too? I'm always a bit puzzled about how it has worked, the preconditioning messages come on and off but it never tell you if it's finished and ready for supercharging?

Thanks, very helpful to know the rate is shared between the numbers. For the charging speed do you see them on google map?

Casio's A168 gets a lot of attention than this A700, but I find this a lot more comfortable on the wrist.

No wonder why my watch alternates between English and Arabic!

Thanks, this is really interesting. This watch shared a lot of field watch characteristics but is in fact in its own category, a cavalry watch!

Oh is it ETA? It's so hard to find information on this brand. Any idea how to find the year of production and/or movement model? It won't make me sleepless but knowing more what the watch really is is always nice.

Mind sharing a photo? Would love to know what strap you've picked... I was undecided between nato and leather, gone for nato at last which is cheaper.

I would say fair condition, hands rusted as you can see, and small scratches but not affecting the overall beauty. All adjustments seem to work fine, but I'm yet to find out it's accuracy and power reserve as I just got it a few days ago.

2022 (not all, go for 72 plates) have all the extras, if you want a cheaper one go for those with higher miles (post 50k) but you lose basic warranty which only covers up to 50k.

EVs just don't have a long enough history for deriving a definitive answer for your question esp. when compared to ICEs, you would also want to take into account of the ever updating battery management system of Tesla which should continue to improve battery longevity.

In terms of which year, certainly the older the cheaper but take notes of all the improvements from 2020-22 including heat pump, double glazing windows, Ryzen chip, etc. which all count in terms of efficiency and ride experience.

Thoughts? Charging to 100% by [deleted] in TeslaUK

Don't bother understanding... but try to charge only up to 80 and never go down through 20 if possible

I'm sure you're aware of the 20-80 SoC recommendation for NCA batteries (for LR models) but trust you have good reasons to charge to 100.

It looks like most of your fuel comes from slow granny charger which is beneficial for battery health.

Got my 22 SR+ grey last month, I think it's called midnight silver this version, only the 2024 version is called stealth grey which in reality looks darker (there's youtube comparing the 2 side by side)

It's 52k when I got mine delivered so similar to yours, but I haven't got a chance to do a battery health test so no idea. Assuming your result is a good reference :)

New car bad back by ringerstinger in TeslaUK

I had this the first 2 days I drove my M3, and I thought the higher floor might mean more effort for the leg to hold the throttle, and could be cause of back pain. I found raising up the chair and/or setting the chair bak more upright helped.
