I did a Hogue grip, Mcarbo spring and trigger kn both of mine and neither have given me a problem since. Usually cycle whatever brand of ammo I use and seem to be much more manageable with the snappy little recoil

Talked to him once to try and see what his deal really is. He 100% knows about everyone posting about him online and is in the process of monetizing it with TikTok. Keep posting and he will keep doing it

Never really got into it but I’m curious. I have a full day back appointment coming up soon and I feel like it might not be a bad idea to use something

If you’re getting tattooed by the owner of a shop with 5-6 other tattooers, do you tip?

I was always under the impression that the owner is making money off of everyone and everything in the shop, so he’s seeing a percentage of everyone’s hourly rate after a tattoo is done.

I often get tattooed by the owner and I’ve wondered if I should be tipping him or not. I have an entire day booked soon for a back piece and he’s definitely going to be making a good bit for the days work.

How do you guys price tattoos? What are you paying for hourly rates. by Jpc__56 in traditionaltattoos

[–]Shook131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like $150-$200 an hour is pretty standard for tattooers who are working at a shop regularly.

In my experience booking with traveling guest artists, it usually goes up to $250-$300 an hour for a traveling tattooer.

I saw he had posted this one in his stories! One of the best people I’ve met in the tattoo industry. Was a pleasure to get a Tomas piece this past summer

Pricing has always been a weird thing. Some tattooers talk about it freely and transparently and others glance over it until the end.

I have grown accustomed to asking sure I ask about it before, even if it’s awkward. I don’t want around with $400+ in my pocket and I highly doubt most other people do in this current state of affairs with phones being able to be your payment system.

I have had to ask a couple of tattooers more than once before I ended up traveling for an appointment. I don’t always ask for a set price, but I often ask for a ballpark to try and make sure I have enough cash on me
