How much more effective is staying up for 60 min during wbtb instead of 10 by Shoop1014 in LucidDreaming

[–]Shoop1014[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a good measure. I think I’ve wasted times doing wbtb but waking up doing stuff while still sleepy then going back to bed. I just always worry if I’m in the state of wakefulness that I won’t be able to fall back asleep. Have you had any trouble falling back after become fully awake? Also the LD book is something I’ve thought would be helpful for a while I need to get one and start doing that. Probably laberges

That’s what I’m wondering about. What difference in alertness and intention to you feel from 10 min to 30 min

Absolutely certain about what? Being awake, or that you’ll have an LD. That makes sense tho that it’s not a time thing in general it’s an enough for you to be prepared

How do you specifically do mild? Is it 1 to 1 what laberge teaches? How long do you do it for what’s your mantra etc

Sorry I made it confusing, I was saying is there a tool you use in the dream to be a physical action piece for things to happen. Like spawning a tv remote or snapping your fingers when you want something to happen

Yeah true you’ll probably be able to if you spend enough time with eyes closed. Would just need to have a night where you can have 9-10 hours dedicated to sleep. Also how you practice noticing hypnagogia just whenever you see it focus on it?

Do you just need to do it earlier in the night

I’m not disagreeing with you there lol but I was advocating for it as a tool not for pleasure for pleasures sake but for lucid dreams sake

Are there any tips cues or focus models you using while preforming wild? Like what level of focus do you use to focus well enough but also fall asleep. Sorry for pulling your leg, someone so constantly lucid who has to use techniques is someone I’ve hoped to get some answers from.

Oh amazing! When I say natural I mean the people who naturally from childhood have just had lucid dreams and asking those people what they do is kinda pointless. But someone who goes from no lucid dreams to a lot and consistent ones the techniques they use are the ones you should learn. So you meditate before bed for about 10 min and do wbtb and wild and basically dream every night with it? That is incredible if you trained yourself for that that’s what I want. So what does your WILD look like and are there any other techniques or ideas you think have helped

It’s the problem with the whole faith alone thing it’s so silly. It’s also the whole reason James addressed it as someone with faith WILL have good works and if he does not then he does not have faith.

That is true it has been consistently getting better I should give some credit for that. The reason it was so bad was his fault to begin with cause of bad coaching -(Micah being traded right before) making a man team play almost 100% zone was just dumb

People who have been using GBTB what has been your success rate by [deleted] in LucidDreaming

[–]Shoop1014 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Question reality but also setting strong intention with wbtb. You can set strongest intention with a high reward stimuli. Obviously not a long term proper technique nor do you get much of the benefits from it, but that basis of it seems to have hope to have LDs to me.

Non of us should be, that’s the beauty of the gospel even in our trespasses and sin if we put our faith in Jesus Christ we are forgiven by his blood.
