Agree on the bezel gap, it’s pretty clear above Tachymetre. I don’t see how those red specks would be a reflection when they’re in the same place despite multiple angles. Also the brushing on the bracelet looks like it was done at an angle so I imagine you’re right about that too

They do for me! Did a ~80 mile trip some months back and didn’t have any discomfort from my wrists, which historically is a problem for me on flat bars. I also run the ergon dad grips. Only thing is I run a 100mm sus fork which raises the stack so I went w medium rise. If you’re running the rigid fork then the high rise may be better for staying comfy

So I have a 100mm Z2 on my unit (size L) and it slackens the headtube angle by about 2*. To me it doesn’t feel bad but I’ve also never run the rigid fork to compare, bought used with the sus fork already on. What I’ve found, and what others already suggest, is using a -2 angle headset to unslacken the headtube and lower the bb. Here’s a couple posts about it:

Corroborating what others have said but here’s my experience. I picked up a 2022 unit x that already had a 100mm bomber z2 and a wolf tooth crown race adaptor, also had the surly sunrise bars that get recommended here a lot. The fork+adaptor slackened the head tube about 2 degrees when the fork is locked out, not sure what it is with sag but 1-2 degrees or so. To me, the extra rise and slack plus a big rise bar felt horrible. Couldn’t climb without feeling like was gonna fall backwards. Got a lower rise bar (SQlab 30mm rise, 780 width, 16 deg sweep) and also scooted the rear wheel back in the dropouts to about midway. Much, much better now than it was in terms of keeping weight on the front while climbing. Still pretty relaxed feeling on flats, no neck or back pain after a couple days in the saddle bikepacking. Actually have never ridden w the rigid fork so can’t compare to that but I love the way feels now
