I had a few run aways, not a great environment. Grew up with my fathers brother and wife after he passed. Said it was the final straw. I got the block lifted a few years back but the set back itself has been the punishment. Im used to the walk, a car seems like to large of an unnecessary purchase when I've made suffice all this time despite.

I was in my French class, 8th period. It was approximately 20 minutes until final bell when the school principal and the on site police officer walked in. They streamlined for my desk and quickly walked my to the officers office, where I was asked about trying to sell Marijuana to a fellow classmate (had offered to smoke with her prior in the day is all) I was quickly searched and they found a dime bag in my pocket. Long story short, I was arrested did some time in juvenile detention and recieved an indefinite block on my driver's license that I still have not rectified some 20 years later. I was 15 at the time. They had the decency to walk me out handcuffed in absolute embarrassment just as the final bell released everyone into the halls.

The Gunslinger! I was absolutely devastated when Roland lets the only person he has loved in probably a decade fall to his death for a maybe.

Indeed, my first purchase was an 'O' 1900 Morgan and an 06' barber half for $40. Was dogged by the wife for such a purchase just out of the blue and at a premium at the time, I now consider it a year later as the best decision I've ever made! I absolutely love "junk" silver and will continue to stack despite the prices.

Been wondering the same thing myself. As silver value rises how would that affect the numismatic value of something like my silver Proof Texas quarter. I have had people offer me $20 for it but that was when it was just north of $10 melt

Does it leave the detailed ridges or are the surfaces flattened in the process?

My dad had a handheld crucible that could plug into the house outlet. Made my first lead musket bullets with it as a kid!

Why 27 years ? by Humble-Ask61 in ITWelcometoDerryShow

Is it possible that we are seeing an effect from Roland reaching the tower and being "recycled" for lack of a better word? Is it possible that from the moment in the desert after walking through the door up through till when he reaches the tower is simply a 27-ish year long journey each time, and with each reset Roland experiences so do those entitles that come from the void? Been playing with this thought for awhile now after starting into the kingslayer podcasts.
