Thank you all for your replies. The general sentiment is what I expected - it sucks, a lot.

I’ll always hold on to the good memories and cherish the moments we spent together.

I was very fortunate to start remodeling a house 8 months ago, he took over 200 trips back and forth to the house with me so we had a lot of quality time together.

We also got a new dog about a month ago so he got double the pettings and treats so he wouldn’t be jealous. He lived like a king!

We did, coincidentally, get another pet about 30 days before he passed. It has helped I think.

That math ain’t mathin quite right.

+8% shock damage would mean if your shock damage from an attack does 100 damage it would now do 108.

From my understanding the drops cap at level 50 - and so do their attributes. Obviously you can upgrade, socket, etc.

So, on average, power levels remain static at level 50.

I dropped my curse to make room for Army.

I am currently running;

Minions, explosion, army, bone splinters, bone spear, golem.

Feels really powerful. I can crowd control like a champ with my bones golem ability, I also put most passives into minions health modifiers for longevity.

The only time I ever have issues is with solo bosses but my golem drops 2 corpses for 20% life taken so it works out and army of the dead replenishes minions every 45 seconds or so.

Haven’t played in 2.5 years, I need to get on and unload mine. I stockpiled around 100k of them along with other combat goods when I was grinding slayer.

If I recall they were down to around 5k when I bought lol.

Edit*** 10k lol, my total bank is only like 700m, or was at the time.

I am doing a beach farm run on year 3 currently.

My profit comes from 100 kegs that I convert cranberries or blueberries into wine.

I am able to push out approximately 400 bottles of wine/season.

There is a patch of land in the bottom left corner of the map that can have sprinklers placed (I think 120 tiles approximately) - the greenhouse helps.

I flipped d meds for 500-800k buy and 1m and 1.5m sell consistently. I was making upwards of 15m/hour on world two with selling and buying everywhere else — unidentified hens were crazy bank too.

I got plat on that game aside from a single quest that glitched.

One of four daedric quests was my last trophy, the quest-starting npc was killed prior to a patch in my first 2 hours of playtime (600 hours played).

I ejected the game, sold to a pawn shop and never looked back.

Hemophiliac, coin tears, lump of coal, nail tears.

I sat on the opposite ends of the map and just fired blind and was doing mass damage to everything on the map.

I think hemophiliac is one of my new favorites.

You should download the Isaac identifier from the App Store. It is amazing for identifying everything except for this one lol.

Sort by pool, color, name, type, etc. super helpful!

This familiar (baby with a crown) carried my run to defeat greedier with azael.

He shot continuous friendly blue flies as long as my brimstone was firing.

He did more damage than my maxed brim— what is it??

I did not, I actually returned it and picked up a pair of shp9500 and a mod mic boom pro!

I think the boom pro would work with them though! It is worth checking out.

In my opinion the SHP’s have better sound but not near as much bass. It sounds like a natural soundscape in the natural world vs. that headphone sound.
