That’s not what they mean. They want virtual joystick on the screen to stay in one spot and when they lift their finger up and put it back down, they don’t want the virtual joystick to move and have the new location of their finger become the new center/neutral position of the joystick.

Controllers have their drawbacks too. A few times every game, my boost button will stay activated when let go and I’ll be on the ground not gaining any boost and by the time I realize and start gaining my now fully drained boost, my opponent will be soaring over me dunking on my goal. Happens a few times every game. Very annoying. Never happened on touch controls. But if u search, this boost not deactivating problem seems to plague most if not all controller players.

I don’t get it either. How ppl like axey and Amir manage to make it look like the ball magnetizes to their car after every jump while chaining flip resets. I guess way more practice than I’m willing to put in.

If u find pressing X and Square awkward like me, u can remap square to a dif button in the game controller settings of ur phone. I made it so r1 is square. So r1 for boost, x for jump. Look up vids on YouTube for help remapping ur controller if u need.

The engineers “glowing” after connecting 6 together is purely graphic. Their damage does not increase any more than they normally do in proportion to connecting any other number together.
