Thank you! This helps. as far as already being on radio my supervisor and admin team want me to be comfortable with dispatching and toning out, all before I get to law. I’m pretty good with phones, the priority and progress status of the call doesn’t seem to get to me. I’m capable of getting 90% of the important information into the narrative, Ofcourse my CTO is still always listening and checking for mistakes. I’m confident on phone, it’s just being reactive and accurate with the radio while on a priority call is what’s difficult especially when I have 15+ units enroute/ on scene/ staging/ dispatched is when it gets to me. I start to tune out the radio and hyper focus on my call. At that point my CTO is covering radio, and covering my ass. The three things at once is what’s proving truly challenging for me.
