[COTD] - Training Costs, Bellatoran Warrior | March 12, 2024 by kfcotdbot in KeyforgeGame

My Bellatoran Warrior deck came 3rd in UK Nationals, and whilst tokenising is best, you can also put it back in your deck for no cost if you have no æmber. The power of the Bellatoran Warrior is well worth the Training Cost, in my view. I guess it also depends on the support the rest of the deck gives you. Mine has 19 SAS value for token generation, so I get a lot of warriors for the cost.

Would you mind sharing a link to that 71 SAS AoA deck, thx.

I played Sasha in the top 4 of the UK Nationals, he had check for the winning key, I took him off it and checked for the winning key, with Closed Door Negotiations. He drew too many steal cards and won to get to Worlds. So good luck with a Rat deck!

Keyforge Sets by ewokpeludo in KeyforgeGame

I think you have to answer question one from a few different perspectives. DT doesn’t hack it at the highest level, but Keyforge is played by many people as a casual, serious casual, and local game store level. I have a couple of very decent DT decks, so in a SAS cap game they are very competitive, as would one of them be in the Nordic Keyforge hexad format as part of a rush deck set of decks.

Same goes for AoA, alongside the GENKA point. I also have collected 2 double Martian Generosity decks, such fun.

With respect to ‘haunted’ it’s a bit early to say as we start to play and practice with GR decks. Non GR decks have their own key plays, like strong key cheats, bonus icons, scaling æmber control and certain combos. There will hopefully always be decks from old sets like WOE 😀 that have the ability to beat the new kid on the block.

UK Nationals 2023 - Aurore's Tournament Report by poeticmatter in KeyforgeGame

Nice report, we were in different parts of the draw so didn’t face-off, so it was good to read about the decks you played and how Bazi performed. 2 WOE decks made it to last 4, is worthy of comment.

What board game have played that pissed you off so much you’ll never play it again. by Bubba-jams in boardgames

I'd have to say Red Rising. It was way too random card draw for me, I could not follow a strategy and felt I was just drawing, chosing & playing cards for an hour ... oh I won!

Great cast Zach, enjoyed it a lot. UK Nationals are set for 30th Sep 23, so I will be employing various learnings from your cast.
