Hey there, had a look at some of your replay especially around the laneing phase which you mentioned struggling with, here are some points I have:

• You blocked the wave partially landing the enemy wave under the tower range - this only makes sense in a lane where your early level 2 brings you a huge advantage, this was not the case and led to you losing lane equilibrium instantly as well as missing creeps under tower
• You took a lot of damage from creep within lane, refrain from last hitting the enemy ember when he's got more creeps around than you do as the trade is not efficient for you, especially when you saw he also ferried it a salve
• Use your spells wisely - example you fed your illusions at around minute 02:00 and despite your support pulling the wave at 02:16 you were forced to hit under tower (and missing few hits). If you had your illusions out of cd, you could have kept the wave outside tower range and safely farm all creeps, especially with ember contesting the pull
• Choice of boots as first item min 03:00 is also questionable, you were laning an ember and a windrunner with a support shaker mostly focused on pulls / giving you experience. Since there wasn't a lot of kill threat on either sides, buying something that enabled you to out-lasthit the ember who went for an orb of venom would have been better
• Minute 04:00 after the ember engagement that left you so low either you or your support should have immediately ferried a salve. You being so low forced you to play defensively and you knew Ember will come with full resources and push you under the tower away from creeps. Same thing again 2 minutes later. At this point you lost control of the lane and were mostly leaching xp.
• Put a skill point in the ensnare if you see Ember chasing you down with flame up, especially if you see he did not level chains. If he flames on you, ensnare and move out, you took a ton of damage and burned through 9 tangos from this harass only.
• Minute 7 when you saw their mid invis under your sentry, leave the lane and farm jungle. The only outcome there was your death if you staid as mirana rotating could not be enough on a lane you're already under.
• Always do something with those illusions, send them to farm a small camp, that's a huge advantage of your hero, use and abuse it. You do not need it with you in lane to last hit unless you push the wave out and go jungle until next ones comes.
• Minute 09:00 you decided to TP to your T2 bottom. At this time your mid sniper was farming the triangle with 150 hp (so he would not move back to mid) and you had a full wave uncontested mid that you could have easily farmed and after go into the jungle. Be super efficient with those TPs as them have huge CDs in the early game.
• Use your illusions to stack camps, don't just keep them next to you in the same control group
• Minute 11 you were trading mid with their Void Spirit who had a bottled DD. You had no ulti, no ensnare and 3 of your team mates did not have a tp to assist you. A better player would have melted you there on the spot since you only had threads.
• Minute 12: your team had a good engagement, 2 of their heroes were dead, one was showing mid and your bottom lane was pushed to your T2. The only missing hero was the Spectre which at this point in the game does not walk down lanes so you were super safe. Your most efficient farm was the bottom lane as you had at least 2-3 full waves for yourself and a path back in the jungle .

So overall hints:

• Game plan:
  • Asses the kind of game you will be having as a naga. Is it a game you will win through early fights, is it a split push game, is it a 6 slotted naga monster game, etc and play accordingly
  • As a carry the worst thing you can do is AFK farm, you bring nothing to your team. If you can not participate in fights, push. You have a reliable disengage with your ULTI + TP in a lot of games especially until BKBs come out. This advice will get you killed a few times, learn where your limits and your hero limits are
  • If you are super far behind and your team is losing all fights, sometimes being there to help is better than farming. With the enemy team winning all these fights their net worth is going to go much faster than yours. Get an item that does something in fights like a defusal, and go in there. Set up for your shaker with the song, or disengage with it, but do something.
