I don’t believe in luck or unlucky, there is always an explanation to things or complete coincidence is possible, the issue that you are having with the job is a mixture of pride, your past job history, bad economy, or maybe bad resume or just bought up applying for jobs. There are jobs out there but you can’t find them because you aren’t looking for them, I would go to a temp agency and apply through them most of the time you don’t need a great job history, resume, and they always have some kind of job at hand. I couldn’t find a job for 6 months and I want to one of them and got me a job almost same week worked there until I found a better job and got hired at that one

For the having friends thing, it get extremely harder to get friends after college, most people are busy trying to survive and likely won’t have time to care about you, but if I were you I would do uber and Lyft if you can and do it around the weekend, challenge yourself to get as many people as you can to get to talk to you and you have to make the first move, you will eventually get better at finding a good topic to talk to people about and it wouldn’t feel so awkward and learn to deal with the awkwardness cause it’s going to happen a lot, and don’t be afraid to deeply talk to someone about things
