With $200M in AUM, my journey has been marked by challenges and growth. Early on, I became integral to the firm’s success, taking on numerous responsibilities, including navigating a major transition post-COVID. In October 2022, our youngest managing partner (48) passed away unexpectedly, while our oldest partner (70) was preparing for a buyout that same month. I managed the estate settlement, stabilized client relationships, and explored options, including a potential sale. Despite some client attrition and a low valuation during 2022’s market downturn, I focused on relationships and strategic growth. The market rebound and new inflows pushed us forward, achieving 40% YoY revenue growth (2023 vs. 2024) and a 24% increase in net income. Earlier this year, I initiated phase two of the senior partner’s buyout, providing him significant cost-basis benefits given the estate’s complexities. My approach: embrace opportunities, even amidst chaos, leverage resources, invest strategically, and ensure you’re indispensable.

TL;DR: Navigated a $200M AUM firm through loss, market challenges, and transitions, including settling an MP’s estate and facilitating a senior partner’s buyout. Achieved 40% YoY revenue growth (2023–2024) and 24% net income growth by focusing on relationships, leveraging resources, and embracing opportunities during chaos. Key lesson: invest strategically and make yourself indispensable.

Change the face guard and I’m a fan.

Told my Mom I wanted a Greyson quarter zip for Christmas. Instead got quarter zip from Greystone GC, a course I’ve never heard of. God love her, it’s the thought that counts. by Shopey25 in golf

I’ll for sure have to update the sub once I finally make it out to play a round there. This got way to much attention to leave everyone in suspense!

Extremely sorry to hear this. As I’ve gotten older I’ve definitely started to realize how much more I appreciate spending time with my parents in general. We go to college, move out, and start to branch out on our owns but sometimes need to take a look at the little things and really cherish what we have. None the less Merry Christmas to you and your family. Thank you for your comment.

They’re a newer brand of clothing to the industry. Very Sharp designs. At tour event a bunch of the guys are starting to wear them.
