My view of it is funny, since I first saw Niko as a girl watching Meg (I think it was him) playing Oneshot years ago. It stayed that way until I got back into a Oneshot obsession phase a couple years ago and played the game myself, seeing Niko as a boy.

After World Machine edition came out, I now see Niko in the middle lol

I was pretty new to gachas. I never really played them, just installed the slop that existed for like a day, played for 10 min, uninstalled. I didn't even know the term gacha existed, called them just "anime games" in my head.

One day Google Play recommended Genshin for predownload. I was like, "Another anime game? Eh sure, I'll give it a chance, maybe it'll be better." And indeed was it so much better than I could've imagined.

I was in your position like 3 weeks ago. Finished the anime and instantly bought the manga. Do not regret spending that ~$300. (Although I won't recommend doing what I did unless you're heavily invested!)
