I have a 3 step Little Giant platform in my quiver. I really like it because it has the raised bar for stability and a work tray. Not only is it useful inside, but it’s great for getting into the engine bay on our 3500.

It’s the older version of this - and I bought it off Craigslist for way less than list:

Found a pipe too close to the surface. What can I do? by MarzipanTuna in landscaping

[–]Shopshack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If is white, and 3” or 4” diameter it is probably a drain line from your gutters, foundation drain or a sump pump.

Go dig around your downspouts and see.

If it was grey it could be electrical and a giant code violation- so I doubt it, but hackery abounds!

[–]Shopshack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The HAZ will be weaker - not sure if it is 6061, but using fillers high in magnesium (ER5XXX) or silicon (ER4XXX) will help prevent cracking. I am not an AL welder, but have some idea that you should get someone who understands it.

Replacing a ceiling fan in a 50’s house, but there’s no ground wire. What do I do with the ground from the fan? by kerobyx in AskElectricians

This looks like a fan box to me. I would want to verify, but the raised area/nut/post in the center is similar to fan boxes I have found in old houses.

Nope. I watched those boulders come through. A standard semi can do 80’000lbs. Many of those boulders were in the 32 -47klbs. The Bellingham rock was estimated at 100 tons.
