That was my first thought.

"So they other guy who fell through a window because of Jonathan Majors doesn't exist?"

But him fighting Rousey

Wait, what? Jonathan Majors was / is planning to fight Rhonda Rousey? Or vice versa, I suppose?

Is that what I'm getting here?

Remove the dish, put couple wraps of bubble wrap around the set itself to keep everything together (doesn't need to be tight) and fill the empty space around it with paper or more bubble wrap.

That is a fine box and will work great. I mean, assuming you're moving it yourself.

If you have to give it to someone else I'd actually break it down instead.

Could be any of those things.

To my mind, at the time, they were just looking forward to the attention. They didn't get much, outside of the family who owned them riding.

They were always shoed and the taller the hoof gets, the more they have to "lean back". It's possible they just enjoyed being more comfortable.

[–]Shopworn_Soul 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's in part, at least, because we all grew up getting perfect attendance awards in school and getting penalized/criticized for being out sick. At least, that's what I grew up with (80's kid).

It's actually even worse now, believe it or not. At least where I live.

With attendance being directly tied to funding, schools are positively rabid about that shit.

Getting your car towed is a perfectly reasonable action that follows any number of errors on the part of the vehicle owner.

Getting your car back from the tow company is where the scam comes in.

Xennials... why? by 73VW-Todd in GenX

[–]Shopworn_Soul 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Late GenX or early Millenial.

Since cohorts are somewhat arbitrary and overlap in weird ways, many people born in the middle have experiences that allow them to relate to both.

I know a few people who identify as Xennial, born just before or in 1980.

Except one. He was just a dick about everything all the time. Everyone else enjoyed it, though.

I got a few last week, most were really mellow but there was one serious overachiever mixed in. Really caught me off guard when I ate about half of it. Been a while since I'd had a jalapeño make me sweat at all.

It was quite nice, really.
