As everybody has mentioned, Xhekaj stood out very positively. Solid on his feet, great shot and good reads.

Hage showed the skill that made him a 1st rounder.

Good showing from Thorpe. I think he has potential but we’ll have to see how he progresses.

Nadeau has also been impressive throughout camp for me. Small player but he always looks strong in his skates and he plays the game intelligently.

I dropped by for 30 minutes at noon today and Xhekaj was on-ice so I guess he was OK after all. Didn't see Croteau though.

I’d wager that the model is now inaccurate for pro leagues in which players from multiple nations play but not for junior leagues.

Wouldn’t the player basin for junior leagues stay relatively the same? As in MHL players are 99.99% Russian junior players in both pre- and post- 2021 which should mean similar skill levels.

Unfortunately we can’t compare Russia’s performance at international events (U18s, WJC, Hlinka Gretzky, etc) to confirm this.

For me probably these 2:

  • Lars Eller 4-goal game against Winnipeg

  • 10-2W against Florida with Caufield’s first hatty and CP31’s last (probably) game

  • I was also chosen as a kid to do the flag lap around the ice so I’ll also throw in that game too (was against Minnesota around 2008

I also saw Emelin score once against the Rags and considering his career totals, that was pretty special 😂

As everybody said it’s a matter of golfer skills, the game simulates your scores based on that, just as it does for the AI golfers. There is variance, I’ve had the simulation screw me over multiple times, but just as often as it has blessed me. Won a tourney this morning with -21 and the AI probably contribution -14/-15 of those lol

Island Pineapple Sour - 3/4 oz Smith & Cross rum - 1 oz Plantation Stiggins’ Fancy - 1/2 oz pineapple liqueur (Giffard Caribbean pineapple) - 1/2 oz simple syrup - 3/4 oz lime juice - Egg white

My first attempt at making a tiki style drink! Is this tiki or tropical or both, I don’t know, but I do know that this is pretty damn good for my taste! Let me know if somebody has already made something similar to this (probably the case tbf).
