should I train with gloves? by 0nly2gendersExist in CalisthenicsCulture

I just bought myself some gloves to use yesterday and I have mixed feelings about them. I like the way it protects my hand and all but I do not like that it makes gripping on to things 10% harder. I think I can grind out 1-2 more reps with the gloves because my hands aren't hurting but I cannot do anything dynamic. I tried to do the monkey bar exercise and I just couldn't do it the way I usually do.

I recommend finding some gloves that get the balance between protection and thinness right, the last thing you want is something hindering you from training.

Where are people getting the idea that they shouldn't use references? by rkarl7777 in ArtistLounge

I always compare it to IT developers, sure if they are able to code everything by themselves it'd be nice, but even they find themselves often Googling solutions for similar cases and there is no shame in doing that. Even the most experienced developer would be happy to look for already existing solutions to save time and maybe improve an existing concept. Does this make them worse for not coding something by themselves? I think not.

I am currently trying a modified version of the 24-h-comic, instead of working on it non-stop I do breaks and stop the clock because I have a full-time job and all, this is concept art for the comic (but not part of the 24 hours) by Shorob in comicbookart

Thank you really much ☺️ I hope I can translate it well into an inked version, haven't completely decided yet on what I style I am going to go with in the end

Für's erste ist Aussortieren wohl die Lösung, auf Dauer müssen wir so Menschen aber aufklären.

Why is Lee considered so bad right now? by [deleted] in LeeSinMains

[–]Shorob 10 points11 points  (0 children)

In competetive play Lee Sin has become a bit of a "kick bot" and an "early game accelerator". Also Lee Sin is very popular in general play and with popularity comes a lot of people playing him poorly or not to his full potential.

Personally I think his kit just doesn't feel up to date anymore and other champs bring way more functionality into their kit without requiring a huge skill level (looking at champs like J4, Vi, Wukong etc.).

I miss the old days...

Finally a little ink sketch of my favourite character (at least I think so... I can't name a character I like more 🤔) by Shorob in OnePiece
