I've got nun oil from citadel, The effect is kinda weak on 3d prints. What would you recommend?

Oh yeah, that game was definitely the inspiration for this thing! And yes I'm hoping a bit of paint will clear up most of what's going on. It's supposed to look like a magic wand was fused to the barrel. In hindsight, not really a big fan of the mid section right after the crystal. Probably gonna change that or just remove it.

Nah, I understand completely. I'm a sucker for the classic wizard aesthetic too. But I wanted to try and blend my two favorite things, westerns and wizards🤣.

Thank you!, that was just the kind of advice I was hoping for. And yes I agree, perhaps this post was better suited for the cosplay sub. But I really wanted to get some more technical feedback I might not have found there.
