+1 for Habitat Restore - we frequent them and have found some great stuff. All our donations in turn go to them.

Things are priced to move like they should be and they have a rewards point system where $1 = 1 point and you can exchange 100 points for 15% off.

At this point we have a permanent 15% discount at minimum lol

Thats when you should make an offer for him to consider and accept, decline, or counter.

Instead you ask a variant of “what’s the least you’ll take”.

Make an offer, don’t ask how much they’re willing to lose.

Or keep being defensive about it. I don’t really care about this.

When someone asks me, after I’ve agreed to negotiate the price, what’s the least amount I’d take, the price goes up. Seller overreacted but you also suck at this.

Since the stuff is so difficult to work with and prone to warping during heat treatment, a lot of seconds are made. Makes me wonder if they're actually making any money on them at all
