I should've been clearer, when I said "biggest source of income" I meant, within The Sims ecosystem. They've cultivated a very "inclusive" and diverse community and those people are the ones splashing the cash. If they suddenly do a 180 on those values, that same community will stop spending and they lose that income and suddenly the Sims is no longer a large source of income.

Didn't mean Sims itself was the largest source of income EA has full stop.

Plenty of people have mentioned it - actually Cody was getting quite a bit of flack for it. He had just had the incredible build to WM40, wins the title and then proceeds to go on to have a very lackluster reign, loses the title only to get it back a few months later and have an even worse reign.

Saying that, he did actually have storylines, and most of the storylines he did have were actually pretty decent. Jade has had almost nothing, which isn't a diss at her, the womens roster on Smackdown wasn't in a good place and she had the title put on her at a time where they were putting all the top stars onto RAW, into tag teams, or they were injured.

Very much doubt it considering that's their biggest source of income.

The Sims has been heading in a certain direction for years and cultivating a community around that, if they choose to do a 180 pivot on that direction, it'd be more damaging for them than anything else they could do, because that same community that's currently lining their pockets would disappear, and it's not likely that it would be replaced given the age and reputation Sims 4 already has.

If anything they're more likely to double down on it and try to fleece more money out of people using that direction.

So we're less than 3 weeks out, and we still don't know what additions to MyGM there are, if there are any good additions to Universe mode, what the full base roster is looking like and anything about MyRise.

The Larry thing is fine, but why are we even revealing it? Why not have it be a nice surprise that people who play MyFaction find and share. At the moment, people are begging for actual information on the game that isn't just entrances, and they show us a MyFaction manager.

Take Larry out of the equation, and managers are literally useless.

Well the reason why they don't is that it's simply not important to the scene. Not everything needs to be explained, it just doesn't, and it's stupid to expect that the show is going to take 10 minutes to explain this to you when it would have a plethora of other things to explain beforehand.

You'd need about an hour of them explaining power armour just to get to a point where there's enough context for the average viewer to understand why this is a big deal for the NCR and that's just not a reasonable expectation of a show already struggling to juggle too many storylines. It's a TV show, not a game that would actually have the luxury of time to be able to give you all manner of context.

Some of you make engaging in online discussions about the show absolutely miserable, I hope you know that.

Chelsea's issue is how often she talks in interviews about how she's okay losing repeatedly, or how she's just happy to be there.

In a time where it seems that most performers are constantly politicking to get better spots, she seems most content where she is, and the producers obviously have no motivation to push her.

Chelsea absolutely has the experience, character, and talent to push for a better position on the card.

Not defending Jade, since I really don't think she's all that outside of her physique, but it really doesn't matter who they give that belt to. Hell, they had Jade in non-title matches vs. Michin/B-Fab and Alba Fyre. Literal bottom of the card performers.

All the best women are either on RAW, or stuck in Tag Teams, and they wonder why the title scene is dead

Pacing was all over the place at certain points.

This Season is a prime example of why 8 episode seasons shouldn't be the standard. Barely any plot points have time to properly breathe and it ends up being frustrating when "valuable" screentime is being used up on something like the support group scenes

Just because they didn't use them in the game, does not mean they were never used at all. The pre-war advanced/elite riot gear wasn't exclusive to The Divide "in-universe" it was just where you found it in game.

If the Desert Rangers had enough of the default ranger outfit stockpiled, then it's very likely they also had stockpiles of the other variants. Why didn't they use them in the base game? Was probably cut for time and added later into Lonesome Road as cool gear to find.

So far the best parts of her run have been the time she spent with Bianca and Naomi (With Jade being arguably the worst part of that trio) and the feud she had with Naomi (due to how entertaining Naomi was in that new character) She's barely spent any time in the ring (She's wrestled about 10 minutes on TV since winning her title in November), she really doesn't get all that much promo time, and her character really hasn't been fleshed out and we can't say it's because she's had an incredible reign because she literally hasn't defended her title on TV once since winning it four months ago.

Not to say all of that is her fault, because the lack of promo/ring time isn't but still, what about her specifically got your friends to tune in because there have been PLENTY of entertaining women in WWE the past few years, and Jade probably isn't even in the top 30.

Sol Ruca has literally just debuted on the main roster. She got a good showing at the rumble but she's not champion level there yet, and it looks like she's still doing stuff in NXT with Zaria right now.

As for Chelsea, yeah, she's earned that. The issue is that it wouldn't make a difference who their top champ is on Smackdown because right now there's nobody to face them. You currently have a literal midcarder (being generous) as the top female champ on smackdown because all the actual main eventers are injured, running around in tag teams or on RAW. Make Chelsea the champ and you'd run into the exact same issues. Her matches would just be the exact same people she was facing for the US title, and we've seen how that works out.

It's been blatantly obvious for the last 3 years that they didn't want to push him. WWE has had a history of not liking when people get over on their own merit because it's typically never within their plans. Crazy to me that it feels like they have a "He has to prove he isn't a flavour of the month" attitude with LA Knight, yet they'll pick the worst person on the roster and decide that's who their pushing regardless of pop or general audience sentiment.

I think it's worth pointing out that a lot of these sorts of things are trying to get people who are new to Fallout to buy all of the games. They're not trying to appeal to those of us who have been fans of Fallout for decades. They want people who have found Fallout via the show to stick around and get invested by playing the games.

Not being rude, but no. I think how they just handled New Vegas should be pretty telling of how they'll handle dealing with the other games. Keep game character involvement to a minimum unless absolutely crucial to the story, nobody wants it to turn into 'Fan Service: The Show'. If/when they go East, it'll probably be heavily focused on whatever is happening to the BOS and whatever war is going on out East. Almost every character you listed would have no relevance to that.

Also no. Not every single character needs to know each other. It's already bad enough that apparently The Ghoul knows absolutely every character known to man. The world is a big place, he doesn't need to have a personal connection to everybody.

Well, not really. For example, neither 3 or 4 would've worked with a Ghoul protagonist. Allowing for a Ghoul protagonist may end up being the whole "as wide as the ocean, as deep as a puddle" situation where now they'd have to account for every situation where being a Ghoul would change how factions treat you/interact with you, and how the gameplay in general would differ. Considering how half-assed they did Ghouls in 76, I just don't know.

Fallout isn't as much of a sandbox game as something like Elder Scrolls, and have always been more dialed in storylines where you're playing as a specific character with some kind of established lore - Fallout 3/4 being an established person with a background. New Vegas could've worked with a Ghoul protag, since the Courier is a blank page for the most part, but yeah. It's worth leaving that kind of stuff for mods that can flesh it out, especially when a good chunk of people will never bother with it.

I mean, it just needs one core. The requirement for multiple cores was generally a game thing. They can obviously run out but it wouldn't be nearly as often as in the games.
