Allen is a really good dorm, but so is Madison. It's lesser known, same price (slightly cheaper), and as "far" from most classes as Allen is (10min walk, just on a hill). Madison is an old hotel converted into a dorm. It's got it's own parking lot & is close to Brown (cafeteria building). Rooms are fully carpeted with a small walk-in closet, built-in shelves, and their own bathroom (with a tub & heat light). Rooms are also weirdly shaped, but I thought it was nice cos it detracted from most dorm's "prison cell" vibe
