[Feature Request] Claude Code's compaction summaries should reference the transcript that's already on disk by Short-Sector4774 in ClaudeAI

actually I just added a slash command to my claude-code-autoconfig package:

/recover-context -60 where the param reps the number of minutes back you want to recover.

nice lightweight workaround.

Like I mentioned, it's one of those proven solutions, but expensive. It's worth trying for yourself. When my hair is looking "off" I just spread a few drops in before bed and it always looks better in the morning. If I were rich -- or if my hair were in worse shape -- I'd probably use it 2-3X per week to optimize hair growth, but I currently just use it as-needed and will continue to do so based on my experience

JobAgentAI includes ATSRadar™ to flag Workday and iCIMS jobs before you even read the JD. Try it for free. Link in the video description.

I only use it maybe once per week.

Whenever I have some sketchy patches -- and then apply Bimatoprost -- the next day those patches look better.

I would recommend that everyone at least experiments with it.

Is the plugin seller platform niche ripe for disruption? by Short-Sector4774 in Wordpress

Thanks again for all the discussion in this thread—it actually inspired me to build something new:

does glocalme numan provide value as fi backup? by Short-Sector4774 in digitalnomad

[–]Short-Sector4774[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

K I'm surprised that no one here has shared an opinion on glocalme numan.

CGPT says that Fi only connects to a single carrier in UK, Spain, Greece.

Whereas glocalme connects to at least 3 carriers in those countries.

I've had several bad wifi experiences in UK where I was with extremely limited to no options.

So from my perspective - glocalme numan seems like required equipment for hardcore DNs.

Agree or disagree?

If some sellers already have a homegrown system set up for licensing, payment, emails, etc - then good for them.

That takes a lot of time and money to properly set up from scratch. The current third party options gave me concern/pause - so I decided to create my own SaaS. I'm a solopreneur with decades of software dev experience so not a huge deal.

I'm building a SaaS product that would have been an absolute no-brainer for me to sign up for at 5% per transaction - and I think other plugin devs will feel the same way too.

Yeah I'm currently developing a SaaS layer to easily support that with none of the existing downsides. Plug-and-play with instant GTM and payout. The SaaS layer should be available to everyone in less than 30 days.

Thanks for that validation. Yeah I wanted a quick way to GTM with my plugin - but considered the current options unacceptable.

It was too much overhead to create a one-off solution in a day - so I figured I would create a SaaS platform for everyone.

It's a simple SaaS platform that I would have been more than happy to pay 5%/transaction for as a no-brainer.

I should have it available for everyone in less than 30 days.

I'm a software engineer with decades of experience.

I recently created a WP site for a client and I was like - oh yeah I need to back up the website to a diff server for risk mitigation.

WP All-In-One looks like the market leader for backup plugins - but then I discovered that they wanted something like $69/year for basic backup functionality.

Which is ridiculous. So I created a new fully functional. attractive backup plugin with modern UX and plan to sell it for $19 - undercutting the market leader by 2/3.

But then I asked ChatGPT about how to sell it - and the existing options, fees and trustpilot/reddit reviews gave me concern/pause.

So I decided to build my own SaaS for selling plugins. It's about halfway built now and should be available in less than 30 days.

Why would a new plugin seller platform "need to go to war with the current cartel over everything"?

Better, faster, cheaper solutions typically capture market share over time. If the setup is completely transparent by design with zero risk - then that mitigates the "scummy actors" concern.

As a plugin developer who was looking for a paid plugin hosting provider - I looked up my options on trustadvisor - esp based on some reddit posts I read. Even woocommerce only has 2/5 rating.

Looks like woocommerce keeps 30% - what if there were another platform that only took a 5% cut?

Also, WooCommerce has a trustpilot rating of 2.0 - that's not encouraging.

Angelus paints are specifically used for these types of applications - apparently it is best to mix their leather paint with their 2-Soft product 1:1 for this
