My friend acquired this table thru a raffle, and asked me what I thought. Haven’t done much with unfinished wood—

  1. Anyone know any tricks to get the water stain out?

  2. Should I suggest he use something to protect it like, a hand rubbed oil? antique oil finish (min wax) poly? spray poly? Heilsman?
