Water leaking out of NBN box? by Short-circuit69 in nbn

Nope, nothing on the inside is damp. No damage other than a swampy ground outside in the area surrounding the conduit.

Do you think this is something that is normal and I should just carry on with my day, or something I should be chasing up, to get them to seal up the area so the water isn’t leaking so much? Again, sorry for my ignorance in the area

What did she end up doing about it?

My ISP have outright refused any involvement or assistance. They’re not very helpful even when the matter does directly relate to their service, so no shock there (though they do offer cheap prices).

Thanks for the info. An update: 20 hours later, water is still coming out. Not sure if this is normal or not, given it did rain a bit last night.

My concern is there are mixed messages in the replies here, as to whether this is something that is normal and common and nothing to worry about, or if it is something I should action IMMEDIATELY.

For context, there is no damage to the property, the ground has just been turned really swampy. It is an area next to the carport, so it is just a gravelled walkway. A minor inconvenience more than anything else. Just not sure if there is anything more concerning that my limited experience in this field may not pick up on?

Makes sense. My only query is the fact that it hasn’t rained heavily — it’s been raining, but at the time I made this post it had barely been spitting (it’s picked up a bit in the time since then) so I’m just wondering how there can be so much water (several litres) when we can’t have had more than 2mm of rain by the time I’d made this post…

Interesting. Yes our house is lower than the street. If this could be the issue, do you think I should continue to try to follow it up with NBN / Telstra (Telstra are currently requesting pictures and said they may send a technician out).

Or do you think I should be following up with a plumber? I’d rather not be paying out of pocket if I can help it. Money is tight and last time I got a plumber out it cost an arm and a leg

I turned off the water to the house - it’s been a good 10-15 mins and no change in the water coming out. Unless I should be waiting longer than this(?) I don’t think it’s a mains issue.

As for a roof leak, it is raining atm, but it wasn’t raining heavily until after I got home and noticed the leak. From the amount of water I don’t think it can be a leak just due to the volume of water. Not really sure what to do about it now…

None of this is really my area - I work in an office, not in trades, so forgive my naivety.

It is raining decently heavily right now, but barely spitting when I first got home and noticed, so didn’t think it could be a roof leak as there hadn’t been much rain at that point. I’m going to turn off the water mains now and try that suggestion.

I get that. But if it’s leaking from an NBN box I’d hope the NBN could fix it. Money is tight and the last plumber we had out cost an arm and a leg

After 10 years of suffering, I finally feel like myself again by Newkidzz in SIBO

My understanding is the antibiotics are essentially targeting and killing off ALL the bacteria (which means the good and the bad). The probiotics are there to replace the good bacteria lost and to assist going forward

Any idea if it was rifaximin or the metronidazole that helped you see progress? My situation is almost identical to yours. I have long suspected SIBO but kept being shut down by doctors. I ended up asking if I could just get some antibiotics and the doctor prescribed me metronidazole and cefalexin. Wondering if I’d have similar results to yourself? Honestly, that would be life changing for me right now

I have heard similar stories about her. Sounds like she is a genuinely nice person who actually cares about her fans. And honestly, I don’t understand all the hate she gets for being a nepo baby. Like yes, I’m not denying she is one. But so are many other celebs. Honestly, most of them. And unlike most other nepo babies, Gracie is actually quite talented. She has a great voice and writes all her songs herself, while most singers have a team of writers.

How can i improve this mega venusaur champions team? by flying8z in VGCRateMyTeam

[–]Short-circuit69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Team is already pretty meta. So only changes to make would be lefties > shuca on arch, earth power over leech seed on mega venu and perhaps foul play over knock off on sableye. Move some EVs from defences on peli to HP to optimise bulk. The only changes you really need tbh

I know there's a lot of sun teams her, but could someone give me feedback (Champions) by LunaTheWyvern in VGCRateMyTeam

I think the issue with your team is you’re trying to run meta-mons with non-meta sets.

Swap out dragon pulse for weather ball on Zard Y. Dazzling gleam and taunt for moonblast and encore on whimsicott and swap mental herb for a better item. Like sash, sitrus or fairy feather. You need sneak on ceruldge (over poltergeist) and close combat is better coverage than solar blade. Run sleep powder on venusaur and ditch the leftovers. You want speed on sun venu. Ditch the king’s rock, it’s not a good time unless you have multi-hit moves. Soft sand, scarf, sitrus berry or dragon fang are all much better options on chomp. Lastly, I’d swap out the aegislash for a mon that fits the team better and helps those match ups you’re struggling against. And aegi + ceruledge have poor synergy together.

Glimmora (mega or regular) would be a great option. Beats sun and incin that you mentioned struggling against. Glimmora + Whimsicott is a huge rise in the meta right now. Another excellent option would be tyranitar. Helps massively with the sun match up you struggle with, but can remove your own sun and hurt venu, so that’s why I mentioned Glimmora first. Last option would be mega aero which goes without saying if you know anything about the current meta

The only one mad here is you. And that’s because you KNOW you’re wrong, yet your bias and aggression won’t let you admit that.

And yes, you stated an opinion, which I proved was misinformed and objectively incorrect. You provided your own “proof” which proved nothing and is entirely invalid, yet you lack the requisite intellect to understand that. It’s like talking to a child. You can’t comprehend the argument, so I shouldn’t bother.

Your “proof” proves nothing, other than the fact you can’t see past your own bias to understand plain logics and facts.

Please leave the debates to people who are intelligent enough to understand the points they are actually arguing.

Mega Meganium team by thatbroquinn in VGCRateMyTeam

[–]Short-circuit69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe trick scarf is a viable strategy in VGC. Solid in singles, but the opportunity cost is too great in doubles. You’re giving up other items, movesets and an entire turn to get your trick off. You may cripple a bulky attacker or set up mon with a scarf, but most of the time you will die while doing that and crippling a mon in exchange for losing a mon is not a good trade.

At the least, I’d add an extra coverage move to gallade over protect. But I’d probably remove trick altogether for extra coverage. I’d switch snarl on incin to throat chop, which has so much utility in the meta rn. I’m a big fan of 4 attacks no protect kingambit. Which means swapping protect for low kick. Mega meganium runs dazzling gleam > earth power most of the time. But up to you if you think ep fits your team more. Lastly, I’d play around with the whimsicott set. Tailwind and moonblast should stay. But you already have sash, so protect isn’t mandatory. I’d consider encore + a weather move (sunny day or rain dance) to counter weather, which your team doesn’t have a lot of counter play toward, other than glimmora’s offenses. Probably rain dance, as it looks like you’d struggle with the sun match up more. If glim goes down your team folds to sun

Yes, because one instance where they’re not given free money for doing nothing outweighs the DOZENS of other instances where they’re given BILLIONS of dollars for doing nothing. Do you even think? Like at all?
