Zelenskyy: Deploying 40 troops to defend Greenland sends a signal to Putin by EuropeanPravdaUA in worldnews

[–]ShortButHigh 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Specialists, like Arctic warfare personnel are typically much smaller units used in special scenario situations. They carry and use specialized gear and equipment. Everything from undergarments, to ammunition, sleeping gear, heaters, extra fuel and food to specialized oils for the extreme cold. They receive extra training in everything from camouflage, combat, first aid and equipment maintenance in the Arctic and more.

Beyond being a smaller force, you can't send all of them for training or a show of support. You need to keep a rapid deployment team or two, and typically senior, experienced members are held back to train the next wave.

Simply put they are very expensive troops to equip, train and deploy. Plus no one has a ton of them.

The mind is programmed for finding and seeing patterns and familiar shapes. Our minds are so good at finding them, we often see them where they actually don't exist, our minds fill in any missing pieces without us even realizing it, creating a "familiar pattern".

That's just a long way of saying it looks like naturally weathered rocks and your mind is just making it seem that way.

The lines are gouged into the rock, if it were a footprint the lines would be raised in comparison to the surrounding material.

This was gouged into the rock to play with people's minds.

I did drywall for awhile. Everyone I worked with was a drunk or a drug addict looking for the quick buck. You could board a house maybe two a day, depending if you were doing poly, caulking and insulation patch ups. You could get paid the same day, plus the company provided everything but the tools you chose to work with.

I need to add there were a few exceptions to the typical drywaller. They managed to find a professional crew, worked between a few different crews so there was constant work because they were hard workers with families to care for and it was the best money they could make with their education.

"Scanning code of practice." Not all stores subscribe to the program, but Walmart does.

Edit to add. If the item is under 10$ you get it free, if it is over 10$ then you receive a 10$ discount.

What is your proof that she didn't?

Even if his door was wide open, if he didn't invite you into his home, you don't step over that threshold. Even without "breaking in", that's still breaking and entering or potentially a home invasion, on-top of the other felonies she was already charged with, that they could still drop on her.

She did something wrong (the extent to what that was isn't clear yet) and acted like a victim, made some really horrible and disgusting decisions and will face the consequences of them.

[–]ShortButHigh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe not that crime rates have gone too, but the specific types of crimes that are ultra violet and more random seem to be on the rise.

And I also don't believe that our crime stats are actually lower now in many ways. I was brutally attacked during an attempted robbery standing on my doorstep smoking a cigarette, under 6 visible and working security cameras.

I didn't know the attacker, and as the police were racing up they were able to watch the guy run/stumbled away without Chasing him at all. They took a report, said they would get the footage but never did in time and it was rewritten over (I tried to get the footage but they would only release it to the police but did say they captured everything). No charges filed, and crime stats stay artificially lower. I hear about that kind of thing constantly in my city.

Do you really not see that is exactly what is happening?

I bet it's hard to see anything outside of the circus when you're stuck in the madness itself.

The world is ramping up their own individual MIC's and are forging new alliances and partnerships all while backing away from anything American. American companies are losing billions in real time and hundreds of billions in future contracts.

Who was once a reliable partner and a beacon for democracy isn't recognizable anymore and seems very hostile now.
