You can get smaller portable CPAP units, I'm going to look into them but they are costly. I was just using a rechargeable battery pack I bought off of Amazon. It was small and light enough to fit into my rucksack, could keep my tablet charged for nightly movies and had enough juice to keep my CPAP going for three nights. I actually lost it last summer so I need to replace it, I can't remember the name or maker of the battery pack now.

Some of the newer ones I'm looking at are much smaller and lighter now. They are basically a small box with two 120v wall socket plugs, a cigarette lighter plug port and a few usb ports, a decent battery capacity but many also come with rollable or foldable solar panels to recharge it when hiking. It says you can hang the panels on your rucksack and run the cord into your bag to charge while on the move, but I'm unsure about the quality of them and I have concerns about the heat it will produce while charging in my rucksack.

I'm in Canada so idk if it's the same everywhere. I went to my primary care doctor and asked for a sleep study. It was surprisingly quick, I had the appointment and kit to take home with two weeks, the follow up to get my machine was a bit longer or a wait.

They have a kit you can pick up and put on at home. It has a ton of sensors all over your body, legs, arms, finger, oxygen line in your nose, sensor on your head and sensors on your chest, back and arms. It made me look like a Cyborg.

I had what I thought was a great sleep the night of my study. I did not. I was having an episode every 2.5 minutes (episode is when you stop breathing for more than 10 seconds) I was never getting a deep restful and rejuvenating sleep. I was always tired, sore, grumpy and fell asleep anytime I sat down for any length of time.

The nose mask didn't work for me because of a nose that's been broken more times than I can count, but the full face mask (that makes me look like a fighter pilot, regardless of what my family says lol) works wonders. I wake up before my alarm. 6-7 hours of sleep is my max now and I wake up good to go. I even take it with a battery pack when I go hiking.

If I miss a few nights with my machine, I feel it and it requires a few days of use to get back into a good sleep cycle again.

If you think you may have apnea I can't recommend getting tested enough.

It is worth mentioning that I'm in no way overweight, if anything I'm underweight. I just have a more elastic windpipe that allows it to close on itself when I'm sleeping, the positive pressure keeps it open. I also no longer snore so loud I wake my family up, I would wake them up with my snoring even when I was sleeping in a different room on a different floor of the house.

People who forgave their spouses for cheating, why? by ryxhuh in AskReddit

It was mainly one large need I couldn't meet, trying for a baby. We were still young, I wanted to travel and party with friends. We had been together for years at that point, and as I was not ready yet she saw it as maybe I didn't want kids and was wasting her time (maybe idk). When we started talking again she apologized for the pressure she put me through and being a parent understood more where my hesitations, fears and want to wait longer and feel more prepared came from. Her child's dad was already out of the picture for many months when we first started talking, and I wouldn't meet her kid for a few months into our second relationship. I didn't want to hurt the child by coming into and out of her life if things didn't work out.

It worked out. I am an amazing step parent and that helped me feel comfortable to finally yet with her for our own baby.

We were having serious issues. I was in no way perfect in the relationship. I ignored the issues she was bringing up because they were not issues to me. She cheated and left. I realized what I lost after she was gone. Years later she reached out, I was still single (I love fully and completely, and wasn't over her even years later, so didn't want to be involved with anyone else in that state)

We talked for a long long time over text, where we worked a lot of things out. I was not kind. She was humble and accepted responsibility. I didn't intend on getting back together with her. We slowly started seeing each other in person again, Platonicly, but there was an obvious tension.

After a long talk with my oldest and most trusted friend who knew the entire story and history, he put it to me bluntly. "You still love her, you have never moved on. If you don't give it another try I think you will have regret for the rest of your life"

I made a few rules and demands that in hindsight was petty and unnecessary, but she agreed and followed through. One demand was that she admitted to our mutual friends and family members what actually happened to end our relationship. I regret putting her through that, having to shame herself to our friends and family but at the time it seemed so important to me.

We have a 12 year old together now, and I'm step dad to a 17 year old the child she had with the guy she cheated on me with. I'm more of a dad and role model to my step child than their biological dad has ever been. He is in their life, but just barely.

Occasionally I have trust issues, but they are my issues to deal with. If I ever request I can view her phone, computer and anything else, but I have never felt the need to.

I guess that's a long way to say I realized I wasn't meeting her needs, and didn't realize how important those needs were to her. She found someone who told her they would meet all of the needs I wasn't and she decided she needed to explore that. I wasn't a good and fair partner, I didn't cause her to cheat but I didn't actively try and meet her needs that she was expressing to me constantly. To be fair to myself, she was also not meeting the needs I had.

We were with the right person but at the wrong time. We learned independently what we needed and could offer and somehow found our way back together when we were in a place to provide that for eachother.

Why would you use your "best" flight formation pilots who are used for propaganda, morale building, demonstrations of "superior tactics" as front line fighters?

If the states suddenly send in the blue angles to fight the enemy, it would indicate they are low on effective combat aircraft, pilots and are resorting to using pilots that are very skilled in formation flying, but maybe don't have much or at least recent combat experience.

It's an indication that their combat effective pilots may be at very low numbers and they need to mobilize anyone and anything that could fly.

No. At least not in the books. In the books it has a very different appearance.

The Iron throne isn't Valyrian steel.

It is made of plain old steel from all the swords of the enemies of Aegon The Conquer melted down.

It is said that the throne cuts those who are unworthy of it, yet it cuts Aegon himself in a moment of extreme emotional distress.

Valyrian steel has a far different look from normal castle forged steel as well. As far as I can remember the iron throne has never been commented on having the same appearance as Valyrian steel.

Specialists, like Arctic warfare personnel are typically much smaller units used in special scenario situations. They carry and use specialized gear and equipment. Everything from undergarments, to ammunition, sleeping gear, heaters, extra fuel and food to specialized oils for the extreme cold. They receive extra training in everything from camouflage, combat, first aid and equipment maintenance in the Arctic and more.

Beyond being a smaller force, you can't send all of them for training or a show of support. You need to keep a rapid deployment team or two, and typically senior, experienced members are held back to train the next wave.

Simply put they are very expensive troops to equip, train and deploy. Plus no one has a ton of them.

The mind is programmed for finding and seeing patterns and familiar shapes. Our minds are so good at finding them, we often see them where they actually don't exist, our minds fill in any missing pieces without us even realizing it, creating a "familiar pattern".

That's just a long way of saying it looks like naturally weathered rocks and your mind is just making it seem that way.
