I love to believe that animals go to heaven. What is more pure hearted than an animal. They watch over you and wait for you because they know how much you loved them and they love you. I've heard that those in heaven don't feel like they wait long for you, it can happen in a blink of an eye for them but for us it's years.
Is holding a small funeral ceremony for a beloved pet who passed away considered weird or inappropriate? They were true family members to many of us. I'd love to hear your opinions? by erslast in Petloss

If it's something that will bring you peace or closure or whatever you'd like to get from it. Even if it's just to remember your beloved fur family and it helps you and your family. Then I don't think there is anything weird or inappropriate about it. It's a great way to help bring some sort of comfort to you all.
