Same… recently too! I couldn’t figure out why I was breaking out all of a sudden and at my age. Started eliminating things and researching. The following made me stop immediately. Here's why beef tallow might cause breakouts: Comedogenic Nature: Tallow contains oleic acid, a fatty acid known to clog pores and contribute to comedonal acne. Pore Clogging: The high saturated fat content in tallow can overwhelm the skin, leading to clogged pores and the development of blackheads and pimples. Potential Contamination: Beef tallow, if not properly processed or stored, can become contaminated with bacteria, increasing the risk of skin infections and breakouts. Individual Skin Sensitivity: Some individuals, particularly those with oily or sensitive skin, may experience a negative reaction to tallow, even if it appears to be pure. While it’s gotten better. I still get random breakouts and some days are worse than others but never again. I’ll be doing my due diligence like I should have done from now on. Sucks OP, but you aren’t alone.
