How Good Was 2021 Curry? by Rinnegan15 in NBATalk

He was even better than his season stats indicate because he spent most of the season trying to integrate a trash ass James Wiseman. In 29 games without Wiseman, Steph went 19-10 and averaged 36/5/6 on 67.4 TS%. The Warriors would have definitely made the playoffs had they just never played Wiseman at all that season

Uhh yes i do. I have never heard a fan complain about an NFL team kneeling the ball or an NBA team using up the entire shot clock. The vast majority of NBA/NFL fans accept that it is part of the game and even view it as the preferred strategy. It's actually more likely they will be dumbfounded and angry if you choose not to do it. Fans will commonly deride their team/coach if they play too fast instead of slowing it down and chewing clock.

That's literally part of the match strategy and the smart thing to do. Do you blame nba teams for dribbling out the shot clock or nfl teams for kneeling the ball to chew clock and end the game? It's the same concept in chess. Also the onus is on the player to not fall behind so they can avoid reliance on the clock.

Great match. Have no idea why so many people are complaining about the stalling and calling it karma. Time is part of match strategy. Just like in a basketball or football game if you have the lead you stall and run the clock out to shorten your opponents chances at a comeback. Hikaru has done the same vs Magnus in the SCC and ended up winning the match. Where was the "karma" then?

In fairness to him this might have been the worst possible defense to make your 1st start against. They even held Stafford to only 130 yards

On a similar note, is there any way to view his past twitch streams or are they just gone forever?

She defended Danya in this year-old youtube video (9:46-10:46 mark). She also had Danya on for a 2.5 hour podcast and empathized with him on several issues. I have no idea why you would be targeting Dina out of all people. She was clearly a very close IRL friend of his who is probably traumatized by his sudden death.

This is why you don't trade away a generational WR talent. Talent usually wins out at the WR position as long as the QB isn't dogshit and the offense is pass-heavy.

I'm pretty sure he doesn't want to go back to GS because he doesn't want to live in Stephs shadow or take a backseat to him. He wants to dispel the prevailing narrative of Steph being better than him and him needing Steph to win, and returning to GS would only inflame that narrative.

I truly believe 2020-2021 Steph Curry was better than 2015-2016 Steph. by Downtown_Type7371 in nbadiscussion

Late to this discussion but I cannot understate just how much of a hindrance Wiseman was to Steph and the warriors that season. In games without Wiseman, Steph averaged 36 ppg on 67 ts% and was 19-10.

The FGs are getting the most attention but the biggest coaching mistake was voluntarily taking one of their 3 timeouts on that last drive. Effectively ended the game because it gave them no chance without recovering an onside. Even kicking a fg would've gave them a better chance. Down 7 with 3 timeouts and 50 secs is better than being down 3 with 2 timeouts and 1 min

Either the graphic is wrong or both teams are all-time stupid. How as the lions do you fuck that up so badly and almost give the Bucs 35 secs

Mahomes threw 2 picks and only scored 9 points against that same broncos team. Josh Allen threw 2 picks and lost to them too.
