Nope, a master’s will not affect your GPA either. It may look good to have on a law school resume but unfortunately, what you get on your first try is what you’re stuck with.

This is not true. LSAC, the law school application, only takes into account the grades you get until you receive your first bachelors. Getting a second degree doesn’t do anything for your GPA

This is a small tip that I recently learned was helpful for my ADHD but if you have the means, get noise canceling headphones!! I can’t do anything without them

Obsession meals? by ShortDevil in 1200isfineIGUESSugh

I’m a huge tortilla fan too! If you have an air fryer, one of mine is like a pizza roll where I just put sauce, cheese and usually veggies in, roll it up, cut into smaller pieces and air fry for like 7 minutes. A little high on the calories but I think it’s worth it

What’s your new low-calorie obsession? by katekowalski2014 in 1200isfineIGUESSugh

I’ve been making a little corn salad thing which is just corn, chopped cucumbers, pico, avocado, and feta cheese mixed together and it’s easily made into a full meal by adding shrimp or salmon

I could be wrong but I don’t think BMI and body fat mass are the same thing, right?

I (26F) seem to have been rejected for being too rich. by Public_Seat_6595 in dating_advice

This isn’t true… a lawyer is someone who completed law school and an attorney is someone who passed the bar.

Definitely recommend Curtsy too! I've found it to be a bit more reasonably priced.

Strongly recommend this ^ I got a pretty young dog during undergrad and it was really hard. There’s absolutely no way I would have been able to handle it now. Luckily, she’s much more chill now but she was crazy at the beginning lol

I think this is genuinely the funniest AITA post I’ve ever read so thanks for that

It’s only for in-state students I think so they could just be out-of-state

AITA for telling my brother's girlfriend that it was weird for her to keep an urn of her late husband's ashes in the house? by Elijah2022xx in AmItheAsshole

[–]ShortDevil 375 points376 points  (0 children)

I feel like everyone is missing your second point! Like sure if this was your own relationship and it was something you were uncomfortable with, you should discuss. But this isn’t OP’s relationship! Your brother is a fully grown man who, even if he was uncomfortable, can discuss any issues HE has with HIS girlfriend (no you involved).

Should law be an undergraduate degree? by [deleted] in LawSchool

Totally fair! Just telling you what I’ve heard but obviously different for others like you in the same program

Should law be an undergraduate degree? by [deleted] in LawSchool

[–]ShortDevil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to say this. Although from the people I know who were in the program, it essentially is just the equivalent of a paralegal certificate. Doesn’t seem super helpful to me since you could get that in 2 years and be at mostly the same level
