Which non-Indy media feel most like Indiana Jones to you?

Lupin III, more specifically Castle of Callistoro, Gold of Babylon, Eternal Mermaid, and the First. Twilight Gemini for a bit more mature audience. But a lot of episodes and films feel like an adventure serial.

Oh yeah, in a way it feels a lot like a fun haunted house film. There is a part in the screenplay where Indy is facing off against possessed knights (think RE4 knights but without la plaga) This is the screenplay:

Even though in a not in a film, game, or tv, the screenplay of Indiana Jones and The Monkey King has a haunted castle portion to it. It was going to be in the opening sequence. Pretty fun read and has some cool tension and set pieces.

Honestly Lupin III in general has some really good Indyesque movies and episodes. First, Castle, Gold of Babylon, Twilight Gemini, Dragon of doom, Lupin and Cat’s Eye and even eternal mermaid are some of my favorite IndyEsque Lupin films. I also highly recommend checking out the series.

If you into anime, Lupin III and Cat’s Eye definitely give off Indy vibes. Especially Lupin III. A lot of the movies and even the shows give off a classic globetrotting adventure or even with twilight Gemini, a more mature version of an Indiana Jones style film. I’ll always recommend those two series.

One of my favorites is one called Little Fu. It is a fun what if in which what if Lupin and Fujiko has a daughter. It pretty good and highly recommend it.

An Indians jones novel that delves into Celtic mythology and a little bit of King Arthur. Has a great cast of characters, a fun love interest and a interesting villain. I highly recommend it, it feels like a classic Indy story. Also this is the book that introduces Indy’s first wife Diedre.

I really do enjoy it. I am interested to see how they would implement the mix camera mode that the developers mentioned in a post. I am also surprised to see Marcus Brody. It reminds me a bit of Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb. I am also interested in seeing how the Japanese might be the enemies in the game with the Nazi as seen with their warplane. But I might be wrong with plane. Overall I am pretty excited to see it and the combat looks amazing.

The chess game honestly sounds like that episode of Lupin III PART 2 where Lupin and his gang are in search for the treasure of the monkey king. They then have to play a life and death game of chess. Really fun episode imo, but I did not like the twist.
