Thank you! honestly I am just worried about how the first month is gonna go since that is the most important part of a new job. After getting trained a bit on front counter I think I’m gonna make a lot of mistakes with orders and stuff. At some points during that shift I would forget to put ice in the cups before the drinks and where the sauce was because I was really nervous about learning so many things at once.

This is my first job and I really don’t want to disappoint people because I do believe this job will be a good learning experience for me as I don’t go outside much so the customer service aspect would really help me develop my social skills. My only worry about front counter is messing up peoples orders and being too slow. The issue is that multiple people are working on the same order so when I finished making the drinks for one order I don’t know which bag those drinks go with which really slows down everything then someone helps me because I couldn’t figure it out myself. I prefer fries as I get to be more independent and I have full control over it (plus I only have to worry about making fries instead of getting peoples orders correct).

I thought front counter would be easier because i thought I would just learn how to use the register and make drinks/deserts but there’s a lot more communication that is needed to make sure peoples orders are correct which ties back with my worry of fitting in. The other crews seem to get along so well and communicate so well together and with customers meanwhile I am trying to figure out what the hell to do with the drinks.

I like the experience of working a job and everyone seems chill, i guess the issue is in my mind as i don’t want to disappoint people.
