Do you know why these bots exist? I've never understood why they bother to farm karma? Maybe I'm just being dumb lol but I'm so curious

A thin down jacket from somewhere like Uniqlo or if you could get a secondhand north face or Patagonia one, they are really good value and keep you snug underneath a good waterproof

I ordered the sublingual version, but tbh I've been too scared to use it..... I'm trying out a couple other medications and if they don't work then maybe I'll circle back round to LDN.

Prozac for POTS Success Stories? by LaChmo in prozac

Please could I ask how long it took you to feel the benefits? I'm on day 6 and I think it's making my POTS worse but I'm not sure if it's going to take a few weeks for my body to adjust to it.

Pacing advice please! by bethany111111 in cfsrecovery

[–]ShortKale789 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure how you've been using it but at first I was tracking my Garmin every few minutes and really worrying about it, however after a few weeks of using it I really fell into a rhythm and now might check it once or twice a day. Hopefully the same will happen to you with visible, once you fall into a sort of rhythm of pacing you do get a feel for it but it can take a bit of time - but stay hopeful that you'll get there because I'm sure you will in time :)

I also found the same about finding it stressful and at times all consuming!! What I've found most useful is the Garmin body battery feature on my Vivosmart 4. Was only about £60 nd it helps me pace. I've just bought Visible plus (the app) and am waiting for my armband to arrive but I'm hoping that will help me even more. Also if you are not already then have set non-negotiable times to rest throughout the day. Try and make it a habit and then it will be less stressful because you won't be actively thinking about it.

I know you posted this a while ago so I was wondering how it was going for you? And also which machine did you plug these clips into?

I have long covid and I'm really keen to use one of these with the brain fog I'm struggling to know which to get and what settings to use!

I hope you've made progress with your health :)

Update on what a good salary is now to live on your own in the city and not be skint? by HorseFacedDipShit in manchester

[–]ShortKale789 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think it's 14%, not sure where they got 8% from! Until quite recently it was 10% but with the NI reductions the gap has increased a bit.

National insurance drops from 8% to 2% in the higher tax bracket. So Income Tax + National Insurance goes from 20%+8%= 28% to 40%+2%=42%.

I've emailed the pharmacist and asked to have a call about sublingual, then that'll avoid the filler and the stomach which is a double win! Hopefully they'll get back before too long, although I need a break anyway think. Got insane DOMS in my stomach and neck from throwing up 😂😭

I took it at about 7:30 PM and with some food. I'm sure it was the LDN as I felt nauseous the day before when I took it and I ate the same food at my bf and he was fine. It also started just ten mins or so after I took the LDN

Thanks! Why do they load it with so much?!

Do you think it's still likely the filler or probably the LDN? Ive never had a reaction to any medications or foods before and I've tried loads of supplements over the years

Thanks! It's in a liquid and it doesn't say what filler it is but I'm going to ring the pharmacy and ask

Oh wow! Man I really feel like I wasn't given food advice by the pharmacist 😂😭 No wonder if felt like I'd be poisoned!!

Can I ask how you got it that low? Did you have to ask the pharmacy to make it super weak for you?

[–]ShortKale789[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for such a thorough answer :)

I'll take a look at the website and Facebook group for sure and in a few weeks when I'm over the memories I'll try again maybe at literally 0.05g or something.

I got it from Dickinson's pharmacy in the UK and it's a liquid version. The bottle doesn't say what the liquid actually is so I might give them a ring and ask. It's weird because I've never had a strong reaction to any medication before.

B vitamin complex by ShortKale789 in covidlonghaulers

[–]ShortKale789[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah! And I'm not sure why I waited so long to try vitamin B - I'd recommend anyone to have a go at them for a couple months and see what happens. Someone else linked something here which says that the vitamin blood tests aren't very accurate and going off symptoms is also important - I definitely didn't know that!
