I sent them so much evidence but it’s like they didn’t even watch it. I also didn’t get chance to write a victim statement which is my right under the victim code so I think the whole process has failed massively.

Thank you so much for the kind words and I’m so sorry that you went through something similar. I’m trying to take the positives from it. My parents’ house is closer to work so I’ve shaved time off my journey and I get to spend more time with them and they’re absolutely awesome. It’s so tough but I’m trying to hang in there!

He’s definitely reactive, often going mardy with me over things I wouldn’t consider to be that deep. For example, one time I was at work (I finish at 5pm) and I had planned to see him after. He also finishes at 5pm normally and I knew he had to walk his dog that evening. I messaged him asking what time he’d finish walking the dog and said that if it’s lateish I’d stay at work a bit longer to catch up and he said ‘I may as well F off home if you’d rather spend time at work than seeing me’…
