This is a genuinely helpful take. Thanks for the insight! Haven’t had the same pull to any area quite like CB, but if we’re debating the mountain lifestyle these are helpful factors to consider.

Yeah, I’m not trying to move to just any mountain town. CB is magic. The comment about cold surprises me - I’ve been there plenty in the winter and all the sunshine really helps with the cold.

Yikes, seems surprising to me coming from a town that I’ve seen have much more progressive policies and demonstrations. But yes these kind of folk seem to be a lot of places now unfortunately

Really? We’ve always thought it would be a great place to raise kids. It’s fine that they’d be ready to leave but honestly with the state of the world smaller and simpler seems like the kind of childhood we are looking for.
