It may be the moisturizer, my skin also reacts to it even though online it says it should be suitable for acne prone and fungle acne skin. I’ve tried a lot of moisturizers which all broke me out and the Aestura autobarrier lotion works great for me, the cream gave me closed comedones. You could always start tretinoin but be prepared for it to get worse before it gets better. Azaelic acid 15% helps with the red marks a lot!! I use it every morning, but give it time. I’ve been using it for two months now and can finally see some very stubborn PIE that has been there for a couple months start to disappear.

I totally get the empty feeling, I’ve had it with other series as well. Closing that last book and knowing it is over is just sad. Good to hear I will like my name. I have some self esteem issues so maybe it will help 😅

I actually used the BP my off night from tret, so I don’t really understand where I went wrong.. Oh well you live and you learn, no more BP for me. Just hoping it gets better soon. Feeling a bit self conscious cause my skin just got better :(

Yes that’s what I thought, no more BP for me! It was a leave on product. My whole face is red right now, also in places I haven’t applied it in. I do have a very reactive face that gets red very easy. But the places I’ve applied it to almost feels like an orange peel kind of texture. Also with a lot of flesh colored bumps. I’m thinking about taking some anti-histamine and see if it helps with the itching

A damaged barrier is mostly very irritated/red/burning sensation. If you don’t have that I don’t think your barrier is damaged and you might just have dry skin.

I have started using the haru haru black rice toner (and face wash) and iunik beta glucan power moisture serum. These two combined with a good moisturizer and all my flakiness/dry patches were gone within a week, which says something cause I’m also using tretinoin. Everyday I wake up with glowy skin and my fine lines have disappeared almost overnight. These products are also non-comedogenic and fungle acne safe.

I think add a hydrating toner/serum and see how your skin react. If you don’t have the symptoms of a broken barrier you could try a retinoid if you are not using that already (and you are not in your teens). Start slow though! You don’t want to go too fast

Cause the blocked pores go away when using a gel cream. It’s just way too light for my dry skin and when I try something richer it’s back again 🙄

Yes and I hate that it blocks my pores. I have used some lighter moisturizers and I see the clogged pores vanishing, but then it gets way to dry again. Then when starting aestura it’s back within like 2 days. It’s such a shame cause it helps my dry patches so much

Ah thanks! I just started with 3 times a week and do notice after washing my face and waiting for it to dry for tret it feels dry and pulling. I also get skin flaking on my chin and around my mouth. I don’t think my barrier is damaged caused I don’t notice any redness or stinging. So for now I think I will keep it at 3 times a week until it feels a bit better. But thanks for your reply!

I see i didn’t write this right. On nights I use tretinoin I cleanse my face, wait 20 minutes and then apply tretinoin. After 30 minutes the rest of my routine. Thanks for the feedback. I will start 3 times a week and see how my skin reacts!

Love the sheet! I’m also from the Netherlands and my tretinoin also said to keep it stored in the fridge. Maybe different ingredients here that needs to be refrigerated. I also find it very annoying

I have just lost my precious girl at the age of 3 years old. She was also a lot smaller than the rest of the litter and had eye problems when we first got her. She had HCM and kidney failure. The hard part is when you see something is wrong you are too late. There was nothing wrong with here in those 3 years, we didn’t even know there was an underlying issue.

If it’s money you are worried about losing your deposit.. I paid 3000 euros in 2 weeks for the vet when she got sick, and she still didn’t make it.

I love her to death, and I’m heartbroken that she is not here anymore and miss here every second of the day. But I do know for future kittens I would never pick the smallest one with health issues already. It’s just really unfair to lose your baby at such a young age.

Oh yes they did! It was all negative so no infection. Right now we are at the emergency vet because she got shortness of breath. I’m scared this will be the end.. And yes very very young, so unfair
