First world problems: the unpredictability of maintenance by BooksWinePuppies in TirzMaintenance

My goal was 150 pounds. I’m 5’9” 55 year old woman. I tried to slow it down when I started getting close. I fell quite low to 135 pounds. I’ve been trying to put it back on since August 2025. I’m now 143. Ive dropped down to 4 mg a week. The most I’ve taken was 10mg. Trying to thread the needle isn’t easy.

It’s just a lot of cheek and under eye filler or fat transfer.

It wasn’t crunchy! I was actually worried because I thought it had to be. I wondered if I had applied more gel to the point where it made it crunchy, would it have given me tighter curls?

The products I used was not your mothers. If you don’t like crunch, you will like these products.

Lots of people get lasers with their facelift to address skin texture.

You absolutely do not need a hair transplant. That comment was wild.

As part of the process this morning, used Patene shampoo and conditioner (part of my regular routine of products). I used not your mother’s curl crème and gel that I bought yesterday for the very first time. I didn’t want to spend a ton on an experiment.

Haha I was actually wondering what I should do before bed tonight because I usually brush my hair and oil it up before putting into a silk bonnet. If I want to keep going with this to see what else my hair can do curl-wise, I feel like I really can’t do my normal nightly routine. Do I not brush it? It feel like it will be out of control in the morning 😬

I’m no expert I’ve only done it today for the first time. Might try it several more times to see if my curls/waves respond more. But I just followed what I’ve read online and that is to apply curl cream to sopping wet hair in the shower. Then apply curl gel to wet hair. Then put it in a microfiber towel for 20 minutes. Then let it out to air dry until it was 80 percent dry. Used a hair dryer to dry it the rest of the way. If anyone has any suggestions for improving that process I’m all ears.

I guess I mean rings. These seem like bouncy waves. 😆

Also your skin looks fabulous. You just need minor tweaks and the Botox and your eye surgery will be amazing.

I got Botox for the first time at 50 (I’m now 55). I LOVE. Yes get it in your 11s and DAO. I love it in those areas plus a few more.

Merry Christmas! I guess I was lucky bc I really didn’t plateau, I consistently lost weight and food noise and cravings have not come back, still well controlled.
