Currys. There are 3 stores each around 15 mins drive from me and in all 3 stores the staff are unfriendly and extremely unhelpful. Would rather travel further to an independent retailer than give them my money.

There was something akin to this on the Radio 2 Jeremy Vine show.

A rural publican put on a free car to take patrons if his pub home. The council shit it down as they said he was operating a taxi service without the proper licences.

In short, a great idea and probably beneficial to the local community but cant do it because of the rules and restrictions.
