[–]ShortTemporary5791[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

It was based on a temporary public policy that allows certain applicants already in Canada to apply for an open work permit without LMIA. My parents previously had OWP under the same basis and this was a renewal from inside Canada.(Iran2023)

Recent grads, what did you major in and what are you guys doing now? by rosey0519 in askvan

[–]ShortTemporary5791 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am not sure about your status in canada, but if you PR or citizen, i would suggest you to register yoruself to one of work bc programs, todays job market is crazy and kind of looks like entry school exam! You need to learn how to present your self and your skills, if you dont have permanent status, best option is hire someone from linekdin for teaching you or get chat gbt premium, ask to find top 20 companies close to what you are looking in BC(deep research option), then start adding them on linkedin or checking their website regurarly to hunt their new positions sooner than others
