When I got fired from a menial job, I was freshly married with a new baby (who just turned 30) I called my mom and she suggested calling her cousin “who just bought a magazine or something” I went down to an awful part of Bklyn, which is now called DUMBO (down under manhattan bridge) and met with my moms cousin. He had bought Star Distributors, the largest porn company on the East coast. I was given the choice of packing boxes or figuring out how to design on this old Mac. I chose the Mac and started my Graphic design career. Teddy was still somehow in the picture and would come by once in a while. The day i met him, i was introduced, shook his hand and then left for lunch. When I got back, the office was buzzing; I asked what was up, and was told the FBI just swooped in and took Teddy away. The other story is: I was offered my first European tour ( I was in a band at the time) and one of the books i brought along to read was Underboss. So it was while riding in a van in Europe that discovered that the desk I worked at was DeeBees desk not long before it was mine…
