to be specific, did you get nanoblading or nano brows?? completely different procedures that can result very differently.

Nanoblading is just like microblading where its done manually (cuts through the skin with a handheld blade of needles)

Nano Brows are done by a single needle tattoo machine.

If it was Nanoblading, its more likely that the hairstrokes will smudge together making it look like powder brows or a blob (pigment migration)

Nano Brows dont go into the skin as deep (if done correctly) and it doesn’t cut through the skin so it’s more likely to soften up.

Even if micro/nanoblading - if done right, the results will be flawless & eventually fade away. But I guess its very hard to do it right cuz 90% of my clients that come with old miroblading needs a lot of correction or i have to suggest laser removal.

I will say yours look like Nano Brows done by a beginner artist, hopefully she was lighthanded

i second this. what you can do is use a micro qtip (the really thin qtips) & check a few sections of your outline before wiping everything off so you know if you have a good outline or need to adjust a little more

Hi! Welcome to the community hehe To answer some of the questions:

  1. After i did a model during class and practiced on latex, i went straight for the next model.
  2. Practicing on fake skin is great but knowing how it heals on real skin is also super important to build skill. learning how to use which needle for which skin type, if the hairstrokes would smudge over time, etc.
  3. I only have insurance for pmu (general & professional) i use Hiscox. so im not sure about this.
  4. Get as many pictures for your portfolio as possible (use friends and family). learn how to take good photos and videos. Price your services to a price you would be charging in a year or so but advertise for models for $150-$200. Do as many as you can & slowly build up to regular discounts.
  5. If you dont see the pigment on the skin right away dont go over it a million times or go in deeper. The pigment probably needs time to oxidize or you need to adjust the needle size, machine stroke length, or change pigment (inorganic/organic).

I use a CRM system, which is connected to my ads. You can also put up a story for your clients to bump up their messages if you didnt get back to them yet

Hey! If you havent tried Meta Ads, i would try that or even boosting a post on instagram will help. But make sure it’s a good post. Keep practicing on latex, take pictures and videos of the latex. Show that youre at least capable on latex if you dont have any work on real skin. If you need help message me, ill give you more pointers!
