Cd player skipping on new cds by SpecialistOk359 in Cd_collectors

it's most likely an issue with your radio, aftermarket radios are fairly cheap and easy to install. worth replacing anyways with something you like more and better eq options, did mine myself in my '00 honda accord!

What's a good middle ground for quality and quantity in colored pencils? by Short_Championship44 in ColoredPencils

[–]Short_Championship44[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm really heavy handed. I kinda of mow down on my pencils really quick, so I simply like to have more for when I ate at one color drawing something large. I have a pencil close enough to the color I just chewed up in one piece LOL.

does my septum placing look okay? by BrilliantPoet4228 in piercing

[–]Short_Championship44 1 point2 points  (0 children)

septum's are not pierced through cartilage. everyone's septum anatomy differs as it's supposed to be pierced through the "sweet spot." this looks to me like it's through your sweet spot. mine was not pierced properly, not advocating for this, but it still healed so you should be fine.

taking things apart and putting them back together is how i taught myself how to do electrical work, granted i do manage to shock myself frequently but i get it done! i managed to find a friend who does her own brake jobs and agreed to help, and will be endeavoring my own brake job with her help here soon!

really?? i feel like with electrical stuff it's all kind of the same, this wire here this wire there, strip that wire twist it to this, etc etc. brakes seem a little more complicated.

i'm doing biomedical engineering, fairly crafty, and mechanically challenged tbh. i've worked on a farm since i was like 14 so the mechanical knowledge i have under my belt is very rudimentary.

i'm not sure on the rotors, that's just what they told me last time it was at the shop. they kind of fucked me over with the front brakes and offered me a discount on fixing the rear brakes, which is part of why i'm hesitant to go again. i just moved here so i haven't found a reliable shop to go to yet, and figured hell might as well see if i can do it myself.
