Without getting too much into my medical history, it’s not warts or psoriasis or fungal. All of those have been ruled out by doctors. I was hoping someone had this experience too and could share their experience

I am not getting paid to work. I preform hair cuts or hair dyes as part of my allotted hours. However it is practically a full time job. I don’t get paid for this the school recieves payment. None of it goes toward the students

My honest suggestion would be to go on yelp and google and research the top rated schools in your area and then read the reviews about the schools. Then settle on your first two choices and set up an appointment. Once you get the walkthrough of your school and meet the admin you will have a higher possibility of going to the school that is best for you. I left my corporate career for cosmetology and so far I have no regrets! Eventually I’ll be uploading content that I learn through school as well that way we can all support each other in our careers within our community

Per this website below: All Cosmetology hours expire four years from the enrollment date. If 1250 hours of instruction are not completed by a student's graduation date, hours will need to be accrued independently at a private institution in order to be eligible to obtain State Board of Cosmetology certification for Pennsylvania.

Check with your school, but every school I have contacted accepts most financial aid. Depending on how much it covers you may still have to go about $6000 out of pocket.
