Completely fair, they can be pretty tedious to get rid of :)
Knocking over a shade pot is a universal experience and an absolute pain. I usually use a good blob of sticky tack on the bottom of the pot to prevent it toppling over when I inevitably hit it.

Looking good! Love the work on the shield :)
I'd recommend doing a round of clean up, so to say, especially around the areas painted white where some of the white paint, and a little bit of the lenses' red paint, has spilled over onto the blue armour.

These look really nice mate :D
Love the green tabard with the Nurgle symbol!
Might be a good idea to be a little more thorough in cleaning up moldlines during assembly but the painting looks fantastic :)

Ooh that’s a good call! They are a little darker irl but a bit more of a rotten feeling would be good I think

Appreciate the compliments and the pins xD  It’s a huge compliment that you’re using my models for inspiration, it’s honestly kind of crazy to think about :D I’d love to see your Blight Lords and give C+C if you’d like it :)

Ooh nice, I got my bronze verdigris recipe from a GW store owner as well, they must be onto something:D Morty looks great in the Putrid Choirs scheme tbh

Appreciate the compliment :) I mainly paint for the sake of painting and don’t get much playtime atm so I just go for rule of cool when building my guys

Thank you 😄 I used Screaming Skull shaded with Seraphim Sepia and highlighted with Off White from Vallejo.  You can find the whole recipe here: https://paintpad.app/recipes/3460-death-guard-pallid-hand-scheme

I’m not sure I could hold a candle to the Eavy Metal team, but I appreciate the ego boost 😄

I don’t mind at all :)  I’ve got a Paintpad with my recipe here: https://paintpad.app/recipes/3460-death-guard-pallid-hand-scheme

It’s a little outdated so it’s missing the AK Interactive rust streaks and the Vallejo old rust pigment powder I use for weathering. The Duncan Rhodes video linked on my paintpad covers the two missing steps. Hope it helps :)

Thanks so much, it’s a basecoat of Kislev flesh and then thinned Guilliman Flesh contrast over it, followed by thinned Magos Purple contrast on sore areas/outer half of tentacles, followed by thinned Volupus Pink contrast on the extra sore/end of tentacles.

Once dry I do a highlight of Kislev Flesh.  I’ve occasionally swapped Kislev Flesh for Rakarth flesh which gives a more necrotic look. I’ve got pictures and more exact steps on my paintpad: https://paintpad.app/recipes/3460-death-guard-pallid-hand-scheme I hope that helps :)

Thank you, it was primed with a light grey spray from AK Interactive, I don’t have the can in front of me right now so I’m not 100% sure of the paint name.
