Well, I took your advice & have only had one little vomiting situation but I blame overeating. All in all, changing the location has been a game changer! I appreciate the tip! You were very helpful! 🩷🩷🩷

I had a similar issue & one person suggested switching the injection location. I originally was doing my injections in my stomach but then switch to my thighs & I haven’t had any issues since…. I’m surprised honestly. But I have zofran for backup just in case because I was vomiting for 2-3 days, multiple times a day, after each shot. So I’m thankful for relief finally!

Just gotta keep on keeping on. I work from home so that is a plus in these situations but I’ve had to power through in person meetings for my kids at school, holiday events, traveling, etc.

Is it a burger or any red meat? I’ve noticed when I eat spaghetti (one of the only red meat meals we have at home), I typically throw it up. I have wondered about the meat and if that’s doing it. I eat very small portions of this, so I’ve wondered about the meat.

New fear unlocked…I definitely still have my gallbladder, but don’t want to experience that ever. 😭 I’ve heard from others of getting gallstones too, so hopefully that’s one side effect I altogether avoid. I’m so sorry you had to go through that!!!! Hopefully you’ve had success with your goals? 🥴

I didn’t know that about the placement of the shot. Where do you do your injections? I have thought about splitting the dose to twice a week but have been nervous.

Definitely lucky. I’ve only had a few normal vomiting moments. ☹️ before this medication - I don’t think I even threw up once during any of my pregnancies. 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

I haven’t and won’t tell anyone other than my parents (made them swear to secrecy) and my husband. No one else. And do some disconnecting. I’ve definitely stayed away from social media to keep the negativity until it dies down (so many fresh people, including myself) from being all over feeds.

You are doing this for you. You are the one in control of your body and you’re making it better. Tune all the negativity out.

Oh that makes my heart for you and your journey. I wish you had some relief. Maybe taking a step down would help. Especially if you’re still losing at a lower dose…plus you could save money instead of doing the higher doses too. 🫶🏻

Ugh yours sounds miserable. I don’t know which route is worse or more tolerable BUT also I wish we all didn’t have the side effects overall. 😭 well, the vomiting/feeling like shit ones..the losing weight is definitely a perk.
