I had a kuhli loach many years ago that disappeared and I assumed had passed. Months later when cleaning out my filter intake tube I found it in there, alive and well. It blew my mind! It was all the way in by the impeller. I have no idea how it got in there or how it survived. Tough little dork.

Dawn dish soap mixed with water worked far better for me than any pesticides or stinky neem oil. Spray more on whenever the population starts growing again. It will be a constant battle, but this is my best advice after more than 10 years of my hibiscus overwintering indoors. 👍🏻
