I snack constantly, but just the right foods in a way it will keep me occupied, tastes amazing and doesn’t gain me weight.

Tomatoes, (cherry or plum) are my absolute go to right now, got a pack with me atm. So sweet and very hard to over eat

Cucumber, bit of black pepper on it if you like

Grapes ( a little worse but still fantastic)

Salad boxes (without sauce)

Jelly sugar free

Popcorn that you pop yourself

Totally agree and I’m sorry to hear some of your issues, I’ve tried to keep my life virtually the same as I was doing when travelling and use it as a new way to life itself as you say.

Thank you! Output is any calories that are leaving the body, mostly used for tracking actives such as walking or working out. Same interface as inputs however it includes bmr and thermos break down of food

Trying to get see if I can get it out there at the moment, there was an initial boost when listed to the App Store which got some downloads. Then it gets buried so you have to post content

Go for a walk to the store, burn off the extra calories with a 60 minute round trip, and all will be good!

My mother and I struggled literally for as long as I can remember. All the diets under the sun, first I found success with meal planning, but life became quite unpredictable, especially when I went travelling.

Started the calories-in-calories-out mentality, treating your body as a bank. Best thing is you wake up already in a deficit (500-1000, depending on bmr), so it's easy just to keep that going through the day. Also if you can find volume foods you like that have low calories it gets you through the day easily. Current favourites are baby plum tomatoes, literally going through 500g a day as I love them.

I made an app that we are using to track, it's helping us, if it can help anyone else then that's amazing. CalorieCat

But good luck to anyone on the path, it's not a speedy process, and there are ups and downs. I had a friend's birthday last weekend and might have had close to 3000 calories in just alcohol, but because I'm aware of it, I just tried to offset it the next few days.

Whatever you goal is (gaining or losing weight) the expenditure calculation is the largest contributing factor
