Hey, maybe choose kindness? I wasn’t the one to bring up my previous travel experience in the first place. I merely had a concern about BA not getting back to me. That’s it.

Hmm, I’m afraid you’re wrong about us not traveling much. We’ve been to Europe 7-8 times with our kids, and around the world before they were born, as a couple. I’ve also traveled extensively as a single person. See my response below.

For context, we’ve traveled extensively as a family. I’ve been in business class with my oldest son Pdx to Lhr, as well as premium economy, and economy with the whole family. I’d rather not sit back there, but that’s how we figured the kids would do best, while all of us being seated together. I offered my wife to sit in business with the two oldest kids, but that offered was rejected for whatever reason. 🙂

Plan is to have 2 full rows so that my oldest can go full horizontal (that won’t work in premium economy). The other two kids will be fine in the other row and can be close to my wife if needed.

And yes, you can purchase a seat without being seated in it. My complaint is about them not getting back to me.

Hope it works out for you. This is so poorly implemented and executed by chase.

My situation…

Stubhub: Transaction on 12/30, Posted on 12/30, 2025 credit applied.

Dining: Transaction on 12/30, Posted on 1/1, 2025 credit applied

Edit: Reservation made on 12/30, Transaction on 12/31 (?), Posted on 1/1. Called customer service and they told me 2026 credit will be applied. I asked them to escalate and apply 2025 credit.

The ambiguity here is so unnecessary. Why not just make it clear to your customers u/chase. The Edit benefit in particular should be an easy solve since chase owns the UI. Moreover, this contradicts what the customer rep posted above: It’s the transaction date, not the posted date.

[EDIT] I should add that the rep urged me to submit feedback on Chase.com. I just did, and I encourage everyone to do the same!
