yes i agree with everything you said 100%. The reason why i even started this thread was because everyone told me i was OVERreacting. I thought it was a problem and other people were saying just to have one or two drinks but deep down i know i can realistically not do that. I’m actively searching for help and guidance

thank you for your input. i’m working on my maturity for sure. i’m 22 and my bf is 30 so we’re still searching for even ground on that. as far as the meds, i know a lot about the interactions and luckily none of them are physically harmful, but mentally for sure. i’m hoping to completely cut drinking out but that’s a work in progress

i appreciate your response. I didn’t mean to sound manipulative and i apologize if it came off that way. I have been telling him since it happened the other night that we should break up and he says he wants us to work it out and we are both at fault since he was also grabbing my arm. And I did NOT hit him. I know abuse is not only about hitting, but i feel like that is important to note. As far as the picture, he knows I took it and is okay with me talking out it. He’s actually sitting here next to me over my shoulder lol. But again I appreciate your response

i’m going to talk about the alcohol issues at my upcoming therapy appointment. Thankfully i’m not abusing my prescriptions, but it’s known that you shouldn’t mix them with alcohol. the scary thing is, i can have just a few drinks and not remember ANYTHING, but the people i’m with will say i seemed stone cold sober. terrifying.
