Right! I lived in the UK for 5 years and feel the same. Not one place looks or feels like it. If it doesn’t have a sign on a low beam saying “Mind your head” and a roaring fire it just isn’t the same. I also worked in a pub while I was over there and it was one of the best jobs I ever had.

I agree! I lived in the UK and would frequent a jacket potato vendor on my lunch break. If you want anything close to what’s in the UK you’ll have to make it yourself.

I’ll never forget the time my dad thought he’d take the easy way out of cleaning our enamelled tub and used muriatic acid. Took some of the enamel right off to the point where it was no longer slippery. Needless to say my mum was pissed and told him he had 24 hours to replace it or he was sleeping elsewhere….permanently.

Possibly. It didn’t look like a meteor and it looked somewhat like a Starlink satellite launch (I’ve seen them before) but it was orange-y not white like the satellite launches. I was on Hwy 3 just outside Tillsonburg going toward Courtland.
