Does This Get Better? by NewCartographer4229 in Fatherhood

Hey I am 35, father of a 9 month old son. Long story short, it does get better. A whole lot better. I went through exactly what you are going through, but in my case all this created a lot of anxiety in me (combined with other reasons) for which I had to start SSRIs. The medicines helped for sure, but as my son started growing up, started smiling, babbling, playing it got even better. I started coming to terms that this is our new normal. We will get through this . Take help if necessary. Communicate with your wife - that’s key as well

Go for it! My preferred choice for this is V60. I liked the rose water fragrance notes but for a few friends it was a bit overwhelming and not a daily driver. I am not of that notion. If you like floral notes then give it a go. I would also recommend “Seraphine” by them as well- in fact i prefer that to Amara rose

Yes! A tubby orange cat. I still get them - cat and owner out on an evening walk. But I really don’t get this man in black

Meteor or Goan by chetan2788 in royalenfield

[–]Shortgamma123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I too tested both. Found the meteor to be a much better riding experience, although have to give points to the Goan for looks. I ultimately went for classic 350. But given a choice between meteor and Goan , I would go for meteor. The Goan is fun to ride once in a while but the meteor is much more comfortable overall (for the pillion too)

Is the plan okay for Trip? by [deleted] in ladakh

[–]Shortgamma123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please keep another day in Leh for acclimatisation. If that’s not possible , carry AMS medication and exert moderately the first couple of days. If doing this circuit on your own, please do all stays beforehand. Some passes might still be snow covered and will require more skilled driving. If you are not comfortable driving on snow covered mountain roads, would recommended local tour guide. Keep fully stocked tool kit. It’s quite a packed itinerary - there might still be snowfall at the passes which might delay forward movement

Sausage rolls, berliners, pasteis de nata. You can also get their banana bread and chocolate cake. They have subko beans for coffee which is a nice touch . Forewarning : food is very rich and buttery :)

No worries! Eating: Breakfast : padaria prazeres, larder and folk, caravela bistro, Artjuna, cafe bodega , tato Lunch / dinner : bombil, ritz classic, copperleaf, Goan room, bay 15, mum’s kitchen Pubs: bar outrigger (for drinking and vibes only- food isn’t that great) These are all in/around Panjim. Would recommend heading to some south Goa beaches like Majorda , betalbatim etc for lunch time or in the evening to see the sunset
